The two acre site has been thoughtfully laid out so that each of the eight individual homes sites benefits from the best natural rock features and indigenous vegetation. All residents will benefit from additional landscaping and planting of communal areas and walkways.
The design and layout of the of the terraced seafront area can only be described as a work of art ,with stunning curved feature walls and planting areas constructed of local pondstone.
The facilities available to residents and visitors will include:
Tropical style octagonal bar with traditional cedar shingle vaulted roof (just right for chillin’ out) Timber and stone island style kitchen and covered barbeque (for the fish you are going to catch)
Waterfront beach area with sun loungers and sunshades (total relaxation )
Elevated terrace with 23ft oval Infinity pool, and Jacuzzi (look no stress)
His 'n' Hers showers and restrooms (more comfort)
Sunset Bluff has already constructed a boat slip, with a timber dock to be completed in the near future. Two 50 foot stone piers will complete the sea front facilities, one of which will support a cantilevered cabana over the water - the perfect venue for enjoying a traditional Bahamian Rum Punch while watching a glorious sunset!
In recent years the Bahamian Government has become increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of residential projects in the islands, and has implemented stringent controls on sea front development. This is of particular importance on the south side of Exuma where the extensive mangrove creeks and lagoons support a fragile eco system of sea life. Sunset Bluff has worked in consultation with government environmental departments and the scheme for landscaping the sea front area and developing the site has been approved in full and granted the necessary permits.
